Dr. Lisa Christman earned a B.S. at Eastern Illinois University in Fashion Merchandising, an M.S. at Illinois State in Clothing and Textile Science, and a Ph.D. at Oklahoma State University in Apparel Design and Textile Science.
She was an associate professor at Auburn University where she taught apparel patternmaking, grading, garment construction, and apparel production processes for 9 years. She has presented her work at more than 30 conferences and published 24 technical papers.
As a consultant, Lisa has developed prototype garments for the U.S. Navy and Dow. She was awarded TC Squared and Navy Research Fellows and over the course of her near decade long university career, she competed for and won nearly a million dollars in competitive contracts and research grants.
Lisa is the sole programmer for Wild Ginger Software, Inc. She began her programming career in 1992 with the development of her very first pattern making program - SchemaCAD for DOS.
Lisa started the company that would become Wild Ginger Software, Inc. in 1992. She currently lives in Auburn, AL with her cats - Rocky, Teddy, Dusty, and Lulu.

Karen Campbell learned to hand sew when she was 5 and started making her own clothes at age 12. Commercial patterns were just a starting place for creating her own designs. While living in Japan she studied flat pattern design and tailoring.
She has taught sewing and flat pattern design to children and adults and written articles on design and construction techniques. She has also done Costume Design. Many of her designs & flat pattern techniques are featured in "The Costume Book" by Mary Burke Morris.
She currently lives in Colorado Springs, CO with her husband Jim and cat. She has two children - Brian and Susan and four grandchildren - Oscar, Agnes, Harvey, and Opal.
