Can I sell patterns created in your software?
- You CAN SELL original patterns you create in Cameo.
- You CANNOT SELL patterns created in the Cameo Pattern Libraries.
- You CANNOT SELL patterns created in the PatternMaster, Wild Things Dolls, Wild Things Pets, or ePatterns.

Can I sell garments sewn from patterns from PatternMaster programs?
- Yes, you may sell items sewn from patterns created in PatternMaster.
- You CANNOT under any circumstances SELL patterns created with any part of PatternMaster in any form or format including, but not limited to, printed and digital forms.
- Please see the End User License Agreement for additional details.
Can I sell items sewn from Wild Things patterns?
- You may sell items sewn from patterns created in Wild Things Dolls and Wild Things Pets.
- You CANNOT under any circumstances SELL patterns created with any part of any Wild Things program in any form or format including, but not limited to, printed and digital forms.
- Please see the End User License Agreement for additional details.
How many computers can I activate my software on?
ALL Wild Ginger software programs are licensed to a single user. You may install and activate your programs as follows:
- Cameo - ONE computer per license
- Digital Flat Pattern - ONE computer per license
- ePatterns Viewer - ONE computer per license
- PatternMaster - individuals - TWO computers per license
- PatternMaster - schools and companies - ONE computer per license
- Pants: Fitting and Design - ONE computer per license
- Stitch-n-Stash - ONE computer per license
- Style Match - ONE computer per license
- WG Collections - individuals - TWO computers per license
- WG Collections - schools and companies - ONE computer per license
- Wild Things Dolls - TWO computers per license
- Wild Things Pets - ONE computer per license
Please NOTE: all Wild Ginger Software programs can be moved to a new computer as needed. Please contact technical support if you need assistance moving your programs.

What happens if my computer crashes or I get a new computer?
- You can easily move your programs to a new computer as needed. See the link below.
- We highly recommend that you back up your pattern files and databases on a regular basis. Pattern files and databases can then be copied to a new computer or restored to the same computer after a crash.

What operating system do I need?
- All of our programs are Windows native.
- All of our current software runs on Windows 7 and higher.
- Our programs can be run on the Mac operating system under certain conditions.

Can I sell my software and transfer the license?
- You may permanently transfer all rights to non-academic licenses to another individual or entity provided that you retain no copies of the software and the recipient agrees to the terms of this license agreement.
- If you have purchased upgrades, you must transfer the rights to ALL versions of the software that you own.
- The software must be deactivated and removed from your computer(s) per the instructions in the accompanying documentation.
- Academic and student licenses CANNOT be transferred.
Licenses for the following software programs CANNOT be transferred to any individual or entity.
- Digital Flat Pattern
- ePatterns
- Pants: Fitting, Design, and Constructions
- Stitch-n-Stash
- Style Match
- Wild Ginger Collections
- Wild Things Dolls
- Wild Things Pets

Can I open patterns from your software in other software programs?
- Patterns created in PatternMaster, ePatterns, and Wild Things can only be opened in Wild Ginger programs.
- Our Cameo software does export to a standard AutoCAD DXF formatted file that may open in other programs. Click on the link below for additional information on Cameo export options.

Can I create fashion illustrations and specification drawings?
- You can definitely create technical specification drawings (also called flats) with both Cameo and PatternMaster.
- Our programs are not art programs and so are not suited to creating fashion illustrations. We recommend programs such as Adobe Illustrator or CorelDraw for fashion illustration.
Can I scan in pictures and make patterns?
- Photographs of actual patterns can be scanned and imported them into Wild Ginger programs and edited.
- Photographs of garments cannot be scanned and turned into patterns.

Can I use a digitizing or graphics tablet?
- We can no longer provide direct support for digitizing tablets. You may be able import patterns digitized in other software programs if the program can export to a DXF formatted file. Patterns saved in the DXF format can be imported into our Cameo program and edited.
- Graphics tablets and pen stylus can be used as input devices but we do not recommend them. A two-button mouse is easier to use in our software programs.
Are your programs compatible with plotters?
- Yes, if your plotter has Windows device driver and works with your version of Windows.
Can I send my patterns to a printing service?
- Yes, you would need to save your patterns to a PDF file that can be opened by the printing service.
